For Rev. Anthony Bell, excellence in ministry is a way of life. This committed man of God is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. Rev. Bell’s life is driven by the purpose for which he was called and chosen to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ through the ministry that Jesus has entrusted into his hands, “Jesus’ Ministry of Reconciliation.
In 2003, God called Rev. Bell into the ministry to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. He preached his initial sermon on December 28th, 2003 and was accepted by the church to preach the gospel. His goal is to be a blessing to the people of God, especially the least of God’s people. Rev. Bell was ordained as a gospel minister on June 2008.
Reverend Anthony Bell completed his education in the Baltimore City public school system. He continued his higher education at Morgan State University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy & Religious Studies in 2005. Rev. Bell then received a Master of Divinity from Howard University in 2008. Also, Rev. Bell received a 2nd Master as a Pastoral Counselor/ Mental Health Counselor in 2013 from Loyola University Maryland. Rev. Bell is recognized as a “National Certified Mental Health Counselor.” Rev. Bell is now in Pursuit of a “Doctor of Ministry degree” from Knox’s Theological/ Seminary in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is expected to have his doctrine in 2017.
Rev. Bell married Barbara and is blessed with one daughter, Charlene.
Rev. Bell has recently been installed as the 5th pastor of New Hope Baptist Church, (January 2015) a church who is serving God and the community for 83 years. Rev. Bell organized, “Take It to The Street” evangelism ministry. He established and hosts, “It Takes Courage to Change” Deliverance/ Addiction ministry. Rev. Bell facilitates mental health groups and workshops that focus on a holistic approach.
If nothing else is said of him, he wants it to be known “He loves the Lord.”
